This venue will help celebrate the wonder that she was and also post up-to-date information on the wait for justice. Frederiksen indicted today on several more child pornography charges

A Charles City man who helped parent 5-year-old Evelyn Miller, whose July slaying remains unsolved, was indicted Thursday on additional child pornography charges for allegedly receiving and possessing computer images of children engaging in sexual conduct.

A federal grand jury indicted Casey Frederiksen for 12 counts of receiving child pornography on various dates in 2003, 2004 and 2005 and two counts of possession of child pornography in January 2005 and July 2005, assistant U.S. attorney Bob Teig said. Our thoughts and prayers are with Casey and his family.

I'm just wondering- you said your thoughts and prayers are with a man who was arrested for possessing child pornography? I'm hoping that your prayers are along the lines of:
"I pray they lock you up forever"
Otherwise I am just confused as to why you would support him. Please let me know. There's an email link on my blog.

I pray for many things in this sorrowful world.

In Casey's case, I pray that he truly find the Lord, seek his divine forgiveness and accept the truth of his sins and society's punishment if he is guilty of the crimes for which he has been charged. We pray that he conveys any information that he has about who did this to Evey to the authorities.

For his family I pray for mental peace and justice and the comfort of the Lord's love for them as they move through these very trying times. They have pain so much worse than us ours because they have not only the pain from Casey's errors but also the pain from the loss of Evelyn and a general loss of support from others in their lives. It can't be easy for them.

I pray for Noel too. She knows more than anyone else, how their lifestyle has hurt others. She will never have any peace on this earth or in the afterlife if this case is not solved. I pray that she turn from sin, reveal her errors, seek the Lord and address the situation of Evelyn's death with the authorities by providing the information that they need to resolve the case and with joy accept any consequences.
